With my player profiles recently, I’m sure that the player in question won’t thank that I have chosen them! After some very recently after good choices by myself, some assists or just being in the starting line up has been about that, however, I have a feeling the tide may turn this match week.
Nany Dimata. The young man who shares the same birthday as me has done very well this season. Missing only 5 matches all season, he has been key for KV Oostende. Potent on the left as well as up front, he has created a good relationship with Knowledge Musona this season.
Still only 19, the match time is so important and netting 11 times is a fantastic return out of the 23 participated in and didn’t begin scoring til match day 11. However, only completing nine 90 minutes may be looked as lack of fitness or not playing well enough, or it could be considered good management by Yves Vanderhaeghe. The three assists may want to be improved on and scoring 2 winners out of his 11 goals may make Dimata even more important, but you can’t always score winners, a goals a goal!
With only 2 bookings, he has fantastic temperament for a young man and the former Standard Liege player will look to channel his thoughts on Lokeren this weekend. With the score being 2-1 to De Kustboys last time these two played in October, they’ll look to continue their decent form at home this time out and win again.
The reason I have chosen Dimata is because statistically he has shown he has quality at a young age. With him, Tielemans and Onyekuru, there is a crop of great young players plying their trade on the Pro League this season, and that’s only 3 that come to mind. If they continue to use Belgium as a platform, who knows how far they can go whether that be domestically, abroad, or internationally for their respective countries.
But for now, the focus is on Nany and this weekend as the next game is the most important.
Til next time…
